Navodaya Class 6 Eligibility Criteria :-

Today is the last date for online application for admission in class VI of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). In fact, earlier the last date of application was 15 September, which has been increased to 30 September by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). If you want to enroll in Navodaya School, you can fill the form for class VI JNVST-2020 by visiting the official website. Candidates will have to visit https://nvsadmissionclasssix.in for application. Candidates can also apply by visiting this direct link.

For admission in class VI, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2020 (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test - 2020, JNVST 2020) will be held in two phases.

 How to apply :

Candidates can apply free of charge by visiting the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, NVS, www.navodaya.gov.in and www.nvsadmissionclasssix.in. Along with filling the form, candidates will have to enclose residence certificate, age certificate etc.

(1) To apply online, students must first visit the official website nvsadmissionclasssix.in.

(2) After going there, click on the link "Apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class VI (Session 2020-21)".

(3) When the new page opens, click on the 'registration - phase 1' link.

(4) Register and fill the application form.

When will the admit card be issued :

For Phase-1 examination (class VI JNVST -2020), the admit card will be released on 1 December 2019 on the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. At the same time, Hall Ticket will be released on 1 March 2019 for Phase-II examination (class VI JNVST -2020).


Result of selection test:

The result of the first phase of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2019 (JNV Selection Test 2020) is likely to be released in March 2020 and the result of the second phase in May 2020. Explain that this result will be released for admission in class VI (class VI JNVST-2020). Candidates can check their result online. Explain that the result of the examination will be released in the respective schools. Apart from this, students can check their results at these places:

2. District Education Officer

3. District Magistrate

The selected candidates will be sent an SMS via SMS to the candidates selected by the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and a letter will also be sent through the speed post.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination Exam Pattern 2021:


  • Students are given two hours in this examination.
  • The exam will start at 11:30 am to 01:30 pm.
  • The exam is to be conducted in 3 parts.
  • All the questions in the exam are asked in multiple-choice type.
  • A total of 80 questions are asked in the entrance exam.
  • This exam is of total of 100 marks.
  • This entrance test consists of questions from the Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test and Language Test.
  • Mental Ability Test brings a total of 50 marks questions.
  • The number of questions is 40.
  • Students are given 60 minutes for this part.
  • 20 questions of 25 marks are asked from the Arithmetic Test.
  • The time set for this part is 30 minutes.
  • The language test also asks 25 marks.
  • A total of 20 questions come from this section.
  • 30 minutes’ time is given for this part.
