Information about LNG. Can LNG replace petrol and diesel? How beneficial will it be for the common man?

Information about LNG. Can LNG replace petrol and diesel?  How beneficial will it be for the common man?

Information about LNG
Information about LNG

About LNG. Rising prices of petrol and diesel are now increasing the tension of man.  That is why the government is working fast on its alternative.  The central government will install 10,000 LNG pumps in the next few years.  In such a situation, most people ask questions about LNG.

LNG (Liquidified Natural Gas) is called liquefied natural gas.  It is natural gas.  It is usually shipped by large ships to countries where the pipeline cannot be delivered.  Natural gas is cooled to 160 સે C and used and transported in liquid form.  So that it can be kept at 1/600 of the aerated volume.  Therefore, it is called Liquidified Natural Gas.  Which results in less space being used in gas transportation.  Liquid gas A lot of impurities are removed during the process of making natural gas.  Therefore, LNG is considered to be the purest form of natural gas.

Now what is the government preparing for LNG :

There are plans to install 50 LNG pumps in the country in the next few years.  Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently said that the development of LNG stations in the country would cost Rs 10,000 crore in three years.  He said the fuel would replace long-distance travel in the country, reducing costs and carbon emissions.

LNG pump will be installed on the highway :

Dharmendra Pradhan said that LNG stations would be set up at every 200 to 300 km distance on all major highways of the country.  LNG is a very cold natural gas.

30 to 40 percent cheaper than diesel :

The government claims that it gives good results in the form of fuel in vehicles like long distance buses and trucks.  It gives more energy than CNG.  Once filled, a bus or truck can cover a distance of 600 to 800 kilometers.  It will be 30 to 40 percent cheaper than diesel.

Why is LNG better than CNG?  :

Experts say that LNG is more flammable than CNG.  It gives more power.  LNG is currently used in many sports cars.  It is also very affordable.

Who can install LNG station ? :

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board : (PNGRB) last year issued guidelines on LNG stations.  According to him, any person or company is allowed to open Liquidified Natural Gas Station (LNG Station) in any part of the country.

Now the biggest question here is whether it can be a good alternative to petrol and diesel.? :

On this, experts say that the use of LNG in India will be expensive.  Because LNG needs a very strong cylinder. India also does not have the infrastructure for LNG.  Its development will take a long time.

Experts say that at present it can only be used in heavy vehicles.  Because it is in liquid form.  It is being used in many countries of the world.  Many trains also run on this fuel.
