After the Gujarat Cabinet meeting in the state today, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has made a big announcement regarding the opening of schools.  In today's cabinet meeting, it has been decided to open standard 10 and 12 schools from January 11.  Which has been announced by the Minister of Education today.

The state government has started preparations to start schools as per the central government's Corona guideline.  It has been decided to start classes from January 10 and 12, PG and last year's college.

 Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama also spoke about mass promotion to students in Gujarat in a press conference.  He said that students will not get mass promotion in Gujarat this year.  Bhupendrasinh insisted that we will take as many exams as we can teach in the new year.

Now that the final year of work for Std 10, 12 and UG, PG is going to start on January 11, the students will have to get the consent of the parents.  Attendance of students in school is not compulsory.  Online education will also continue.  While another standard will be decided in phases.  As education is resumed in Corona, the SOP of the Central Government will be complied with.
